Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update Arriving To Samsung Galaxy S3; Announced By German Network Carrier, Deutsche Telekom

Despite the absence of confirmation from Samsung; there are more and more clues showing up indicating that official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update will indeed reach Galaxy S3.

Samsung's last year's flagship device will receive the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, as reported by International Business Times, citing a German carrier, Deutsche Telekom. The post stated that the network carrier "announced on its official forum that the new Jelly Bean update will in fact reach its Galaxy S3 handsets."

Aside from this recent hint from Deutsch Telekom, which is indicative of the arrival of official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to Samsung Galaxy S3, there are other strong clues supporting the news.

For one, another network carrier, this one's based in Australia, previously revealed that Samsung Galaxy S3 will skip 4.2.2 firmware to receive straightaway the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Other reports are also suggesting that Samsung is planning to "skip Android 4.2.2 all together on a number of handsets and update directly to Android 4.3."

Moreover, an insider from Samsung's Research and Development based in India claimed that the smartphone maker is currently working on the official Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3, as well as the forthcoming Galaxy Note 3,  alongside existing generation, the Samsung Galaxy  S3 and Galaxy Note 2.

Samsung has not been confirming any details yet regarding Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update coming to Samsung Galaxy S3 and other devices. However, Samsung UK made a statement saying that it can ""confirm upgrade plans to Android 4.3 to selected Galaxy devices in the coming months."

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was released on July 24, during a Google press event featuring the head of Google Chrome and Android products, Sundar Pichai. The latest Jelly Bean update debuted alongside the new Nexus 7.
