Eminem’s new album for 2013 doesn’t look like it will be out for the rumored Memorial Day release date. But Eminem put on a classic show at G-Shock’s anniversary party in New York City two nights ago. Eminem didn’t perform any new tracks from the album. Instead Slim Shady rocked the mic with hits from his 20-year career.

Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager, told Billboard back in February, "We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time. It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when."

Post-Memorial Day may be coming soon. Eminem’s hype man, Mr. Porter tweeted “Some of these Em fans will have something to talk about soon. Thank god cause y'all be killing my timeline” two days ago.

Eminem doesn’t do many lives shows. Eminem’s show at G-Shock’s 30th anniversary Shock the World in New York City was just about an hour. Eminem played a basketball complex about the size of an airplane hangar. Eminem performed the hits “Cleaning Out My Closet,” “Stan,” “Love the Way You Lie” and his megahit “Lose Yourself.” Slim Shady also cut loose with some B-sides like “Kill You,” “Dream On” and “Toy Soldiers.” Eminem blew out his voice on the second song, but that didn’t stop him from singing the Rihanna parts, dancing soft-shoe and pulling ballet moves.

Eminem recently made the Rolling Stone magazine list of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Slim Shady will soon be off to Europe for a mini-tour. The dates are:

Aug. 17 - Slane Castle in Slane, Ireland

Aug. 20 - Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, United Kingdom

Aug. 22 - State De France in St. Denis, France

Aug. 24 - Reading Festival in Reading, United Kingdom

Aug. 25 - Leeds Festival in Leeds United Kingdom
