Kim Kardashian's ex-stepmother Ellen Kardashian filed a lawsuit against Kris Jenner and the Kardashian sisters for defamation. Ellen Kardashian claimed that the Kardashians and producers of their reality show made her look like a gold digger on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," TMZ reports.

Ellen filed the suit against Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob, and even Ryan Seacrest Productions. Ellen claims that the Kardashians and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" producers attempted to draw her into the plot of the reality show and portray her in a negative light, according to TMZ.

The lawsuit states that a private investigator attempted to sell damaging information about the Kardashian family to Ellen, portraying Kim's ex-stepmother as a gold digger hoping to blackmail the girls. Ellen reportedly refused the bait, TMZ reports.

Ellen says the Kardashians made her look bad on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and made up lies about her. One lie in particular accused Ellen of marrying Kim's father Robert Kardashian for his money, the website notes.

The lawsuit filed by Ellen calls Kris Jenner a "manipulative and devious mother and ex-wife who simply used and exploited her children," TMZ reports. She also calls the family's careers meaningless.

The website mentions that the feud between Ellen and the Kardashians has been running for years. Ellen was married to Robert Kardashian before he passed away in 2003.

Ellen is suing for unspecified damages.
