Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson broke up in May after four years of dating, and now reports say that "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer helped Kristen and Robert get through the break up. Kristen and Rob may have to confront each other at a "Twilight" cast reunion and at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

"There is a 'Twilight' barbecue and get-together a few of the cast members are trying to plan on a weekend near Thanksgiving," an insider reportedly told HollywoodLife.com, "when things aren't too crazy on everyone's schedule."

"But everyone feels awkward, because they of course want to invite Rob and Kristen, but no one knows if they will be okay to go to the same function together. It's really awkward," the source added.

Kristen and Rob played lovers Bella and Edward in the five movies. The writer of the books, Stephenie Meyer, reportedly was there to reach out and help the actors during their difficult break up, Entertainmentwise.com reports.

"Stephenie Meyer has reached out to both Rob and K-Stew to make sure they're good after the breakup," another source told the website. "She's kind of like a big sister to them and they love her, so she's been a perfect person to talk with."

The awkward reunions don't end at the possible 'Twilight' barbecue. Entertainmentwise.com reports that Kristen and Rob may both make an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

"Breaking Dawn Part 2," the last installment in the vampire saga, is nominated for numerous awards, which means Rob and Kristen may have to make a public appearance as a united front this weekend, the website notes.

There is the possibility that the pair have reconciled and will be fine on Sunday. According to X17Online.com RPatz was spotted arriving at KStew's Los Feliz mansion on Sunday, where he stayed for two hours. Perhaps they were airing out their hard feelings for each other to appear more calm and collected together at the Awards show.
