As "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 awaits its September release, a three-part web series is being unveiled to hype up the upcoming season.

"Republic Hustle" showcases young Bolin and Mako as they attempt to survive the streets with morally questionable activities.

Past 1 of the web series shows how Mako and Bolin met Toza, former captain of the Black Quarry Boar-q-pines and currently the manager of the pro-bending gym in Republic City.

In addition to seeing some backstory of dearly beloved "Legend of Korra" character, the web series also includes brand new animation designs.

"This short was written by 'Korra' writer Tim Hedrick and designed by Evon Freeman. It's a fun, different style for the Avatar universe," writes "The Legend of Korra" co-creator Bryan Konietzko.

"And you get a peek into Mako and Bolin's life on the streets when they were younger. This is the first of three parts. Only the first one is out right now. Enjoy!"

Even better, it appears this "Legend of Korra" web series will also show how Bolin found Pabu!
