iOS 7 Release Date Set For September 10: Rival Company Samsung Planning A Buzzkill, Rumored To Hold An Event A Week Before Apple’s?

New reports are flying around the mobile world claiming that iOS 7 release date will be on September 10.

A week after the release of iOS 7 beta 5 download to members of Apple's developer site, news about iOS 7 release date emerged suggesting that the highly-anticipated iteration of the Apple mobile OS will arrive on the 10th of September during an Apple event, as reported by BostInno

Accordingly, the iOS 7 release will be released by Apple together with a new hardware, which is most likely to be the new iPhone, unofficially dubbed by the experts as the iPhone 5s. The new iPhone is set to run with iOS 7 and it will have new and improved features such as longer battery life, better camera and if rumors are true, a fingerprint recognition technology which acts as additional security measure.

If the news about the fingerprint scanner is true, then, Apple will be the first to deliver such kind of feature to a smartphone. This rumor originated when Apple bought a biometric specialist firm, AuthenTec. The rumored fingerprints-scanning technology would allow a one-touch login to Apple's new iPhone.

Meanwhile, other news reports are claiming that Apple's biggest rival, Samsung, is setting an event that could steal the limelight from the much-talked about new Apple products. CNBC posted, "But this year, rival Samsung Electronics is poised to deliver some buzzkill to the iPhone's launch with an event timed a week before Apple's, according to sources familiar with Samsung's plans."

It is expected that the South Korean-based tech and electronics giant will have an unveiling event for a new Galaxy device during the IFA 2013 to be held at Berlin.

Regarding this issue, Samsung has not been giving any comments yet.
