As Pokemon X and Y prepare for its October 12 release, players now have the opportunity capture Kalos in photo spots!

As seen on the Pokemon Global Link, scenic photo spots are all over Kalos, and it appears players now have the ability to capture these images.

"You'll see all kinds of beautiful scenery and locations during your adventures in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Take beautiful photos of these fantastic views," says the official Pokemon website.

"And just like a real camera, you'll be able to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, brightness, and other features to dial in the perfect shot!"

In the images of photo spots in Pokemon X and Y, it appears a camera will be set up, and another NPC will help you take a picture as you pose.

So which Kalos city will you immortalize in your photo album? Lumiose City, Vaniville Town, or maybe Santalune City?

And while Pokemon X and Y is receiving a lot of attention with Horde Battle and Sky Battle, one battle mode that is not being seen as much is the traditional double battle.

It is understandable that Pokemon X and Y would market itself with the newer features first, but with double battle being such an iconic part of Pokemon, it is curious that no attention has been given.

However, some battle gameplay footage has been revealed, showing four Pokemon doing battle.

I wonder if the hero/heroine will team up to do double battle with one of its friends like previous Pokemon games.
