Samsung Flip Phone 2013: Merging Past And Present, Images Of Leaked Device Spark Interest Among Android Loyalists

Samsung's success in the mobile phone industry is not limited to its flagships, but also its specialized models which feature mid-tier to high-end specs. And with the number of phones they release each year, the company always makes sure to hit the mark and retain its title as the top mobile phone manufacturer.

But Samsung is not just known for the myriad of models it releases, but also the innovations the company brings into its new products. One good example is the rumored Samsung flip phone that may be announced later this year or early in 2014.

Dubbed as the "Galaxy Folder", this phone reincarnates the good 'ol memories of the flip phone and combines it with the fluid user experience of the Android platform. Earlier reports of the flip phone state that it is comprised of a dual-low resolution display, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean,1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel snapper, a microSD slot and even dual-SIM support.

Some leaked images by Sammy Hub revelead that the phone uses both touchscreen and keypad for data input, two features already present in some handsets released a few years back. However, what separates it from other devices is the presence of the latest version of the Android OS which would surely be something to look forward to.

Samsung has to confirm or deny the development of the Galaxy Folder flip phone, but it is certainly something both gadget geeks and Android fans would love to use.
