Wonder Girls' agency, JYP Entertainment, refuted rumors of Wonder Girls disbandment.

Since Sunye's wedding last January, there has been speculation as to whether Wonder Girls will be disbanding. However, according to JYP, there has been no official discussion in the agency regarding this matter. On August 29 a JYP rep said, "Like we said from the beginning, the members are pursuing their own individual activities. There hasn't been any internal talk whatsoever of the group's disbandment."

Rumors of their disbandment started when Wonder Girls leader Sun left for Canada after getting married. She is set to give birth in November, and has revealed plans to go to Haiti on a mission trip. At the time, JYP said, "Although Wonder Girls is not disbanding, it will be difficult for them to return to the stage in the same way they used to. For now the members will be working on their individual activities."

With Sun absent, Yubin, Sohee, and Yenny have all been progressing in their acting careers. Yubin made her acting debut through OCN drama "The Virus," Yenny is set to appear in a tvN drama titled "Basketball" which will premiere in September, and Sohee recently appeared in KBS drama "Happy Rose Day." Meanwhile, Lim is DJ'ing for EBS Radio.
