Female solo singers are dominating the music charts.

On August, 30, the real-time chart on a main music site indicated that the top spots were occupied by women solo artists. The female solo artists won out against even the popular girl groups and hip hop songs.

Yoon Mi Rae's "Touch Love" took the number 1 spot. This song, which was released on August 28, is the OST for SBS "The Master's Sun." The song starts off with a love-themed piano melody and harmonizes with an R&B rhythm and Yoon Mi Rae's voice to create a melancholy ballad.

Lyn's influence is amazing, too. Her new song "I Like this Song," which was released on August 29, is currently number 2 on the Melon music chart. This song was produced in part by the all famous Duble Sidekick, and features Lyn's charming voice. The song is a sweet confession about love.

Baek Ji Young's "Is Crying" is also topping charts. This song, which was released on August 27, is the OST for KBS drama "Good Doctor." It is a sad love song about one watching a loved one leave.

Hyorin's OST "Driving Me Crazy" for SBS "The Master's Sun" was released on August 21, and even now is sweeping the charts.

Although the aforementioned songs are all OSTs (besides Lyn's song), when you consider that there are male singer OST, it is amazing that the female solo artists are currently topping the charts.
