Rookie Singer NC.A will be making her debut as an actress.

NC.A's agency JJ Holic Media made a statement on August 29 saying, "NC.A is confirmed to be cast in cable channel tvN's 'Reply 1994.'"

NC.A debuted with her single "My Student Teacher" on August 12, and appeared on a music show for her debut. On the show, she showed off her cute looks and husky voice, and her debut was a success.

The television series "Reply 1994" is a sequel to the popular "Reply 1997" which aired last season, and will feature the biggest Korean boy group at the time, Seotaiji and Boys, and the Korean Basketball League.

The young singer will play the role of a cute college student staying at a boarding house with other college students. Before NC.A was cast for the female student role, it was said that Director Shin Won Ho was searching for an actress and happened to see her picture before her official debut. He then went on to offer her an interview, and that's how she got the part.

NC.A will be appearing on "Reply 1994" along with Go Ara, Jung Woo, and Yoo Yeon Seok. The TV series will air its first episode in October.
