Mnet "Superstar K5" airs its first episode, and has decided to reveal the judges' ratings.

Mnet's "Superstar K5" requested that the viewers pay special attention to the judges' table on the season opener of the show.

The reason? They've decided to reveal the score sheets on which each judge scores the contestants. It's a surprisingly simple design with the only content being O's and X's next to the contestant's names. The producers decided to reveal the score sheets in order to show the viewers that there is no bias and that every judgment is based on the critique or praise of the judges.

An interesting thing to note here is that the judges almost never all agree on a contestant. Superstar K5 producers revealed that the contestants will be judged according to what each judge's philosophy on becoming an artist is. Because the 3 judges are very different artists, their judgment of the contestants also vary and differ. These opposing views add tensions that make for an entertaining TV show.

Among the three judges, Lee Seung Chul judges for powerful vocals and star power. Yoon Jong Shin looks for the unique and rare talents, while Lee Ha Neul looks for mass appeal and an effective stage presence. The judges will be more involved in the competition of their stars, which will add a dimension of fun for the viewers.
