2PM March Release of First Best Hits Album in Japan

2PM according to Oricon was the second highest selling rookie artist in Japan last year. The group is to release their first album in Japan on March 14. The album titled “2PM Best in Korea 2008-2011” will include 2PM’s greatest hits in Korea (with Korean lyrics) along with unreleased tracks.

The album will have three different versions, DVD version with songs from the “JYP Nation in Japan” concert, Junsu’s “Alive,” and Junho’s “Move On.”

2PM also won the “New Artist of the Year” at the 26th Golden Disk Award. Members Taecyeon, Chansung and Nichkhun have actively been involved in Japanese movies and TV dramas.

The group will become the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert "Budokan 6 Days" at the prestigious Budokan Theater. It will take place from May 24 to 25 and May 28 to 31. Tickets plan to go on sale starting March 31.

JYP Entertainment shared, “We expect 2PM to see more significant growth in Japan, as they’ve been one of the best rookie groups in the country.
