SPEED's very own Sungmin is trying his hand at acting.

Sungmin is currently scheduled to star in KBS drama special "Another Relationship" (tentative translation) as the role of Jin Goo. This will be his first project as an actor. On September 4 his agency Core Contents Entertainment revealed a picture of him and actress Lee Young Yoo holding a placard with the title of the drama.

On his first day, the other people on set complimented him by saying, "Despite this being his first attempt at acting, he was very charismatic. Even though he is a very new rookie when it comes to acting, we look forward to his growth as an actor."

To this Sungmin said, "Since this is my first drama filming, I was really nervous and worried about whether I would make other actors or staff members suffer through my mistakes. However, the staff members and director encouraged and helped me. I was so thankful, and it helped me have a smooth filming session. I am learning a lot about acting, and hope to show myself as an upgraded actor soon."

The drama will be directed by Han Sang Woo, and Ye Ji Won, Lee Young Yoo, and Choi Sungmin will star in it. The first episode is set to air on October 9.
