Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: 'King Of Phablets' To Be Offered In Various Carriers Starting Today, To Be Released In October

If you have been paying attention in tech news the past couple months, then you may be one of  the consumers who is waiting for the 'king of phablets', as one tech blog puts it. 

And now the long wait is finally over. 

After being announced in the IFA event in Berlin on Wednesday, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is now available on pre-orders on various carriers under a two-year contract. 

AT&T, who has already offered pre-orders for another phablet, the LG G2, will offer the Note 3 to its subscribers for $299.99 on a two year deal. However, customers can also avail of AT&T's Next Program, where they can avail the Samsung flagship phone for only $35 a month. The carrier will release the device come October 1st.

T-Mobile will offer the Note 3 through their Simple Choice Plan for $199 upfront, and $21 a month for the next two years. GSM Arena reports that it will ship the units starting on 2nd of October. 

Meanwhile, Verizon has yet to make any announcements regarding its available contracts for the Galaxy Note 3, but we expect them to do so later today. 

In case some people are looking for Samsung's intriguing smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear is available at $299, though you can get it for free with a Note 3 contract if you signup for T-Mobile on the carrier's page.
