Basketball veteran Lamar Odom has reportedly entered rehabilitation for his addiction to alcohol as well as to substances OxyContin and Ambien. However, according to reports by TMZ, his wife Khloe Kardashian does not have an idea of her husband's plea for help.

 It is unknown whether the reality actress is intentionally neglecting her husband's whereabouts after his alleged extramarital affairs.

Since Odom's DUI arrest last week, an insider says that the couple hasn't spoken to each other. According to Radar Online, it was an unidentified basketball dealer who bailed the athlete out of jail and not Kardashian.

On Friday, Odom was arrested in California after recklessly driving his Mercedes Benz SUV. He was jailed after failing several sobriety tests and snubbing the required chemical tests.

Prior to his drug mess and marriage issues, the Queens-born player has always been looked up to by his fellow athletes for his leadership skills and his dedication in the court. For this reason, his friends and colleagues have expressed their concern for the troubled team member.

Athlete Josh Powell urged Odom's family to show their unconditional support for him: "It's just really sad, man. You just want to wish the best for him. You want for the people that are part of his circle, you would hope that they are doing any and everything to try to be supportive and try to help him get back to being that old Lamar that everybody is used to seeing."

Fans have similarly expressed their support for the distressed athlete whose career future seemed unclear. With the coming 15^th season of NBA, there is no guarantee yet whether Kardashian's husband of four years will be included.
