Users of Samsung Galaxy S4 can now install the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update on their devices.

As reported by International Business Times, the first official over-the-air (OTA) firmware for Samsung Galaxy S4, bearing the model number GT-I9506 or the LTE Advance variant. The post noted that the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update can be enjoyed by the Samsung Galaxy S4 owners under EE Network in UK.

The official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update can be installed using the 19506XXUAMHD firmware. It is applicable only to Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A, which is the world's first smartphone enabled with LTE Advance technology. This provides the opportunity for users to achieve data download speed that can be as fast as 150 Mbps.

Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A is yet to be released in the global market, since many countries are yet to support the new LTE Advance technology.
