Bruno Mars on Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Half Time Show performance ; Top Notable Performances In The Past [SLIDE SHOW]

The Super Bowl XLVIII will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. We don't know the teams who will make it for now. One thing is for sure though, Bruno Mars was chosen by NFL to perform for Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII half time show. Bruno Mars was the only male after Elvis Presley, to hit five No. 1 singles according to Billboard.

Did NFL got tired of getting female performers? Or is it because it is probably safer to go for a male performer as wardrobe malfunction is least likely to happen with Bruno Mars, and a male's nip slip is definitely less controversial over any other female performer.

It was a good choice for NFL and has gotten a thumbs-up from the majority. No violent reaction or bad feedback has been expressed for the selection of the Grammy Award winner for this year's Super Bowl.

In the past the most controversial performance was from Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake's primarily due to the nip-slip caused by a wardrobe malfunction from the former. Here is a video/slide show of the past Super Bowl's remarkable half time performances in the past.
