OS X Mavericks Release Date: Rumors Suggest That New Apple OS Won’t Have Same Launch Date As iOS, iPhone And MacBook Pro

OS X Mavericks release date is said to be in late October according to GottaBeMobile.com since it has already reached its seventh beta. 9 to 5 Mac stated that this delay in the release happened as Apple decided to focus on the development of the iOS7 that has to be released with the next generation of iPhones, the 5S and the 5C. Once the iOS7 is released this month, Apple can then finish with the OS X Mavericks in time for a launch by the end of October.

The expected October release late of the OS X Mavericks also mean that it won’t coincide with the rumored release of the MacBook Pro Retina Display with Intel Haswell processors this month.

GottaBeMobile.com disproved the belief that Apple will be releasing the iOS 7 and OS Mavericks together by pointing out that for the last few years, Apple has been launching their latest OS X versions a day after they get their 4th Quarter earnings call. This is normally around mid-October.

According to GottaBeMobile.com, since Apple waits for their iOS versions to be ready for release with their new iphones, the same must apply to the Macbooks and the OS X. This means that consumers can expect the new MacBook Pros to come out in late October.

The OS X Mavericks will come with better flexibility in Finder, faster Safari web browser and a host of newly developed iBooks apps. With all the beta stages OS X Mavericks has gone through since its official announcement in June at the WWDC, GottaBeMobile.com predicts that the performance to expect will have been worth the wait.
