Boy George Unveils New Song ‘King of Everything’ [VIDEO]; Former ‘Culture Club’ Lead To Release First Album In 18 Years!

The 80s music icon Boy George has unveiled his new song, "King of Everything."  This is a cut from his upcoming album, "This is What I Do," his first after 18 years.

According to his official website, "The song itself is about a wife-beating boxer singing to his down trodden wife, trying to make amends, and asking her will he be her king again.  It is symnonomical of George's struggles over the years, but it is not a song that's directly about him."

About the album, his website states, "Boy George is back with a new studio album of original material, his first in 18 years! 'This Is What I Do' is to be released on his own 'Very Me' Record Label on 28th October and will be supported by live dates in the UK."

"This is What I Do" contains 12 tracks, namely: King of Everything; Bigger Than War; Live Your Life; My God; It's Easy; Death of Samantha; Any Road; My Star; Love and Danger; Nice and Slow; Play Me; and Feel the Vibration.

For those who were too young to remember, or weren't born during the 80s, the DJ/ singer gained popularity as the lead of Culture Club, a band that has won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist and a Brit Awards for Best British Group, both in 1984, among other accolades.  The group popularized songs such as "Karma Chameleon" and "It's a Miracle."

As a solo artist, the 52-year old singer is known for "Sold" and "The Crying Game," among others.

"This is What I Do" is scheduled to be released on October 28, with scheduled tours in the UK in November.  He will be in the US and Canada from Sept. 26 to Oct. 26 for his DJ Tour.
