Linday Lohan's recent appearance in E!'s late-night talk show, 'Chelsea Lately', was very refreshing for the audience. Just a couple of days out of rehab, the 'Mean Girls' star was already invited to be the guest host.

While one of the reasons she appeared was for her to promote her new flick 'The Canyons', Lohan definitely nailed her hosting stint through a series of witty remarks.  People that night saw a glimpse of the former persona of the actress - the LiLo that they have seen in 'Parent Trap' and 'Herbie'.

The radiant-looking actress started the show by giving a hint on why she's not spotted under the spotlight lately: "As you know, for the past 90 days I've been on a lovely court-ordered vacation in Malibu. On a real note, it was really great and wonderful. I have a lot of people to thank for that ... like the celebrities who kept the tabloids alive in my absence."

She gave her two cents on 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart's rude behavior against paparazzi in Germany: "I'm just excited that Kristen Stewart finally showed some emotion. Of course she hates photographers. They got a picture of her kissing a married man inside a Mini Cooper."

"Rumors that he's bisexual with a DJ named Nick. I've been there," said Lohan about the sexuality of One Direction's Harry Styles. She was pertaining to her former girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The giggling guest host even joked about the unfair treatment going on: "How come when Kanye [West] acts like an idiot, he gets a gold record, but when I act like an idiot, I get a criminal record?"

No new acting jobs are lined up for the actress yet but people cannot help but wonder if her joyful appearance in the show means that she has already departed from her formerly troubled lifestyle.

She ended the show by saying, "I'm especially proud to be on the first episode of 'Chelsea Lately' that doesn't include a salacious topic about Lindsay Lohan."

She will be appearing next week in an interview with Oprah.
