Serena Williams Boyfriend 2013: US Open Win Thanks To Coach? American Tennis Star Reaches Height Of Career With Patrick Mouratoglou

Serena Williams has won the US Open 2013 and many are speculating that she reached her peak thanks to coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou.

And earlier this month, Patrick Mouratoglou touted her performance in the US Open 2013, saying "#serena broke 100 victories with tonight's win since we work together."

But the coach and rumored boyfriend says that history or records are never discussed, according to the New York Daily News.

"She doesn't speak about it," Mouratoglou said. "What she says is she wants to be the best she can be. She wants to keep on improving. She said to me at the start, 'I'm prepared to do anything to be back to the top and to be winning Grand Slams.' "

Richard Williams, Serena Williams' father, boycotted attending the Wimbledon 2013 tournament, where Serena Williams had an early dismissal, because he isn't happy she's dating Patrick Mouratoglou - the most likely cause of his discontent lies in the French coach's marital status, AOL Entertainment reports.

Patrick Mouratoglou is in a divorce case with ex-wife Clarisse Mouratoglou and is still dating Serena Williams.

While Serena Williams' mother has not reported any disapproval with her relationship, her father is certainly not in favor of it.
