Serena Williams mentioned in an interview with USA Today in June that she shares "something special" with her coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou, leaving fans wondering if she plans on taking things more seriously with him.

While Patrick Mouratoglou is currently in a divorce case with his ex-wife Clarisse Mouratoglou, he is rumored to be dating Serena Williams very seriously and has been noted for improving her tennis career. Serena Williams recently won her fifth US Open title and had a stellar performance at the French Open earlier this summer.

Earlier this month, Patrick Mouratoglou touted her performance in the US Open 2013, saying "#serena broke 100 victories with tonight's win since we work together."

But the coach and rumored boyfriend says that history or records are never discussed, according to the New York Daily News.

"She doesn't speak about it," Mouratoglou said. "What she says is she wants to be the best she can be. She wants to keep on improving. She said to me at the start, 'I'm prepared to do anything to be back to the top and to be winning Grand Slams.' "

Richard Williams, Serena Williams' father, boycotted attending the Wimbledon 2013 tournament, where Serena Williams had an early dismissal, because he isn't happy she's dating Patrick Mouratoglou - the most likely cause of his discontent lies in the French coach's marital status, AOL Entertainment reports.

While Serena Williams' mother has not reported any disapproval with her relationship, her father is certainly not in favor of it.
