Jimmy Kimmel Admits Twerking Video Prank [VIDEO]

Jimmy Kimmel admits twerking video was a prank created by his team. A video aptly titled, "Worst Twerk Fail EVER" went viral last week with a total of 9 million views. Social Media attributed to the fast circulation of the video. Others laughed while others were concerned that 'twerking' might become a provocative fad amongst youngsters, specially for the little girls.

Last Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel admitted during his late show that his team was behind the video and it was a hoax. The video featured a girl allegedly named Caitlin Heller was 'twerking' and accidentally caught fire. The girl on the video was actually a stuntwoman in real life, her name is Daphne Avalon who was sworn to secrecy (regarding the true nature of the video.)

Jimmy Kimmel stated, "To the conspiracy theorists on the Internet who thought the video was fake: You were right it was fake." Jimmy Kimmel, 45, then played an "extended" version of the video with him appearing at the end of the video extinguishing the fire.

Daphne Avalon, the girl on the video, revealed she got a lot of messages from close family and friends, inquiring about the video, but kept mum about the incident. She said, "I got numerous Facebook (messages), texts from friends who had seen the video." She refused interviews until the Jimmy Kimmel's revelation last Monday during his late night show.
