LG G2 Verizon, AT&T Release Date Is On Sept. 12 & 13 Respectively; Flagship Android Device Shows Off Specs In Video [WATCH IT HERE]

LG G2 superphone will be coming to U.S. shores this week, according to a report by Android Central. The tech news site who has proven to be reliable for leaked release dates, reports that LG G2 for Verizon will arrive Sept. 12, while AT&T will have the device available by Sept. 13.

The release dates, mere days after Apple announced the arrival of its iPhone C and iPhone 5S models, is intended to yet be another formidable competitor to the popular iOS-based handset.

Sprint has announced that pre-orders for the LG G2 device will begin October 11.

The upcoming Android device showed off its impressive specs in a new product introduction video, which in less than two days has already received more than 40,000 views.

The LG G2 superphone is one of the first handsets carrying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which according to Full Signal, should be enough to give the phone a lot of horsepower for games and apps. LG G2 will also have 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and most qualities of a high-end smartphone.

The device will also have a 5.2-inch display with a 1080p HD resolution and has the Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection. The company has done some neat engineering on the phone to ensure that the screen is large enough but the overall protection is relatively small.

The pricing for the phone has yet to be determined but estimates that it would be around $200.00 with a new, two-year contract.

The sign-up page for the LG G2 is now live on Verizon and AT&T is expected to accept pre-orders by around September 3.
