Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) LEAKS: Map Of Full Game Locations Leaked On Reddit, Rockstar Games Confirms Maps Are ‘ Almost Spot On!’

The Full Game Map for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) has been leaked. It has been posted on Reddit as well as other gaming sites. Rockstar Games acknowledged the map as authentic, but it is still unknown if they took steps to take them down.

The map was spawned from what was deemed as an ‘accidental sale.’ A strategy guide from Brady Games had a replica of the map. Some enterprising fans used screenshots to recreate the map, which Rockstar Games itself has labeled as ‘almost spot on.’

The map was posted on Gaming forum, NeoGaf. The immensity of the game shows near endless terrain, with mountains, deserts and countrysides. The County of Los Santos is a loose recreation of Los Angeles, but it’s clear from the map that the game went far beyond.

The map was posted on the Reddit website, where the game already has its own subreddit. The original user who posted the image has taken it down, and has also deleted his/her user name. It is unclear if the user felt any pressure or was threatened in any way by the game's creator, but it appears to have been deleted voluntarily. However, there are still numerous images all over the internet.

Some gaming enthusiasts have posted photos where the GTA V map was superimposed with maps from the game’s past incarnations, just to compare the size. The map of GTA San Andreas, which was previously the GTA’s largest in size, dwarfs in comparison.

Rockstar Games has not issued any statement regarding the leak aside from the this tweet:
