Justin Timberlake Epic Musical Comeback Modeled From Ben Affleck's Cinematic Rebound; 'Runner Runner' Co-Stars May Reunite

Justin Timberlake has praises for his 'Runner Runner' co-star, Ben Affleck. He modeled his musical comeback from the "Argo" director's triumphant return. It is possible for them to reunite on a different project.  

The former Nsync member co-stars with Ben Affleck in this month's "Runner Runner." He is all praises for his co-star and he admires the triumphant cinematic comeback from "Gigli" all the way to winning Best Director Awards for "Argo." 

Justin introduces his movie character, Princeton graduate Richie "He loses all his money and finds out that there's an algorithm that cheats you." But instead of giving up, he travels to Costa Rica to confront the man who he believes swindled him:  Ivan Block. (played by Ben Affleck) The two protagonists develop an unlikely friendship, but Richie has to make a choice-to stay with his new friend/mentor or turn him over to the FBI.

The "Sexyback" singer is all praises for his co-star. In the movie, Affleck's character is initially his friend, then his enemy, then his mentor. The possiblility of being his victim is something you have to see. 

In the course of filming, the earth-shattering news about Ben Affleck being chosen as Batman reached the set. Timberlake was not oblivious to the social media backlash, and speaks from his experience working with the future Dark Knight.  "Ben Affleck as Batman -- I like it. I worked with Ben last summer, and I've seen his process. I think he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think he's an extreme talent, so he could surprise a lot of people." 

They might even reunite if Justin gets his dream role: "I'm ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call."

Runner Runner is set to be released in the UK on September 27th 2013, and on October 14th in the U.S.
