Gravity, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney Earn Raves At Toronto Filmfest; Oscar Nominations Predicted

"Gravity" is the latest film starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Currently shown in the Toronto International Film Festival, the movie is earning rave reviews, and there's serious talk about possible Oscar nominations for the film and its lead actors.

Sandra Bullock, who already won a Best Actress in a lead role Oscar for "The Blind Side" talks about her previous Oscar win and how it hasn't 'sunk in' yet. In an interview at the Filmfest:  "I think most people have that out-of-body experience when they win the Oscar. I had a little newborn at home, so my body was already out of itself. I still haven't gotten around to having my moment with it yet. Maybe one day it will come."

The former "Miss Congeniality" star relates the effect of winning an Oscar on her career:  "What it does do is make you realize how hard you have to work to earn it. I didn't feel worthy of it when I got it. So I thought, okay, I'm going to spend the rest of my life hopefully earning it --- but having a really good time in the process, as well."

The film is directed by Alfonso Cuaron who previously helmed the modern classic "Children of Men." Another "Children of Men" alumnus, Chiwetel Ejiafor, is being fancied for an Oscar in a different film.

"Gravity" currently scores 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, a consensus movie review site. One of the site's top critics, Tom Huddleston of Time Out, praises the film: "This isn't just the best-looking film of the year, it's one of the most awe-inspiring achievements in the history of special-effects cinema."

"Gravity" will be released in the US on October 4.
