Android 4.3 Release Date In Next Few Weeks For Samsung Galaxy S4, S3? Already Leaked For HTC One On AT&T

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software release date for Android phones may be in the next few weeks, for Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, while a leaked version of 4.3 has already leaked for HTC One on the AT&T carrier, according to new reports.

At the Unpacked event last week, owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 smartphones should look out for an Android 4.3 update release date very soon, Digital Trends reports.

The Android 4.3 update is expected to be released in October for Samsung, according to the website.

However, whether or not this update will be sent to carriers or will only be available on new devices, has yet to revealed.

According to Digital Trends, Samsung will want to roll out Android 4.3 software as soon as possible, to give more people access to the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Gear is only compatible with hardware running Android 4.3 and at the moment, only the Galaxy Note 3 and the 2014 Note 10.1 run on the update. If the millions of Galaxy S3 and S4 owners are thrown into the mix, Samsung's sales projections for the watch may rise considerably, Digital Trends reports.

The HTC One may be seeing the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update at an even sooner date in the U.S. This is because the software has already leaked for AT&T HTC One, and can be downloaded at this time, according to UberGizmo.com. Though it isn't very easy for Android users to download, it is possible to get the leaked version.

According to the website, it has been previously reported that the phone could receive the official version of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in September, meaning it will come to users in just a few weeks from now.

SlashGear.com reports that the official release of the Android 4.3 JellyBean may even come as early as this weekend, implying that the leak was a build up to the official launch of the update.
