'Fast And Furious 7' Had Started Filming! 'Transporter' Jason Statham, Dwayne The Rock Johnson To Join Vin Diesel In Upcoming Trilogy?

Vin Diesel's "Fast & Furious 7" had started filming!  This was announced by 'Riddick' himself in his Facebook page.  He announced:

Seven...

Has begun...

Hitfix had quoted the xXx actor as saying in an interview last May, "'7' is the beginning of the next trilogy in the thought-out story.  The three stories of 7, 8 and 9 are mapped out in a structure, even if they're not signed off on."

He further said, "The direction of 7, 8 and 9 is clear."

There is no word yet on who will be in the eighth and ninth instalment, but fans can expect nothing less than adrenaline-pumping action in the seventh, with Diesel to be joined by "Hercules" Dwayne Johnson and "Transporter" Jason Statham.

"Fast and Furious 6" came out in May this year, and those who watched can still clearly remember how it ended.  Having killed the bad guy Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his friends settle back down in the US.  But one of Toretto's crew Han Seoul-Oh (Sung Kang) gets killed in a car accident -- staged by Ian Shaw (Statham), Owen's brother.

Shaw is out to find Toretto; Torreto is out to find Shaw.  One can just imagine the pedal-to-the-metal action, with lots of things getting blown up, especially with bounty hunter and DSS Agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) joining in the fun.

The film also features Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Djimon Hounsou. Kurt Russell and Ronda Rousey are rumored to be joining the cast.

Other than in "Fast and Furious 7," fans of Diesel will also see him in "The Last Witch Hunter" in 2014.  He also lends his voice to Groot in "Guardians of the Galaxy."

In 2013, the 46-year old actor and producer starred in "Fast & Furious 6" which, according to Box Office Mojo, earned a worldwide total $787,979,850, with a budget of $160 million.  His other 2013 film, "Riddick", released just this September, was number one in its first weekend, with $19,030,375 in earnings.

Fast and Furious 7 is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2014.  For the meantime, fans can enjoy the sixth instalment of the franchise:
