T-ARA Announces Plans For October 10 Comeback, 'Traditional T-ARA, But Better'

T-ara plans to drop a new EP in October for their first release as a full group in a year.

After the controversial leaving of member Hwayoung last year, K-Pop girl group T-ara have had a bit of a bad run. Spending the better part of 2013 focusing on unit group promotions with T-ara N4 and QBS, the full group is expected to make a comeback on October 10.

According to T-ara's agency, Core Contents Media, a teaser video and the official poster for the new album will be revealed on September 25 and the new album's name and track listing will be announced via a press release next week.

T-ara's new mini-album is expected to include five or six songs and the title track has been described as "traditional T-ara, but better," by reps at Core Contents Media.

The new album will will be performed and promoted by the six full-time members of the T-ara group, Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon.

In July, the group's management announced that member Areum was leaving T-ara voluntarily in order to pursue a solo career more in line with her personal musical tastes and style.

Additionally, the newest member, Dani, will only appear as a member of the T-ara N4 sub-unit and will not promote with the entire group for the upcoming album.

The new mini-album will be T-ara's first release as an entire group since last September's single "Sexy Love" as part of their re-issued EP, Mirage.
