‘Glee’ Season 5 Spoilers: Nasty New Girl To Join McKinley High, Will She Dethrone The Cast’s Resident Mean Girls?

McKinley High will be welcoming a new nemesis in its cheerleading squad. The fifth season of 'Glee' will be featuring an antagonistic character named Bree who will be played by Erinn Westbrook.

Westbrook has played several episodes of 'Switched at Birth', 'Twisted', 'Mr. Box Office', and 'See Dad Run'.

She will reportedly take aim at the New Directioners using her character's spiteful attitude. Although Bree appears to be a threat, insiders say that the resident characters of 'Glee' including its original mean girl Kitty will not let one rude cheerleader rain on their parade.

The premiere episode of 'Glee' will be a joyous two-part tribute for Beatles. TV Line revealed the season-opener's synopsis: "The members of New Directions are back in action and take on their biggest assignment yet: the Beatles! As Will enlists the kids to pay homage to the classic song catalog from the Fab Four, Blaine and Kurt attempt to answer questions about their future together. Meanwhile, Rachel's New York ambitions take an unexpected turn in the all-new 'Love, Love, Love' season premiere episode of Glee."

Apart from Westbrook, Demi Lovato will also be introduced in the fifth season as Dani, an artist who's also the love interest of Santana.

The Beatle episode is highly-anticipated as well as the farewell tribute episode for Cory Monteith which will be titled 'The Quarterback'. Such episode will start by saying that Finn Hudson has passed away for an undisclosed reason.

'Glee's' fifth season premiere will air on Fox on September 26.
