Jang Keun Suk, the self-proclaimed 'prettiest man in Asia' has the chance to prove that distinction in his new lead acting role.

Last week actor-singer Jang Keun Suk declared himself the best looking man in Asia, but it seems that perhaps his ego isn't as inflated as one would think and he was merely hinting at his upcoming role in the KBS drama Beautiful Man.

Based on a popular comic book of the same name by Chon Kye Young (who gained popularity for another cartoon, Audition), Beautiful Man follows the story of Dokgo Ma-Te, the most beautiful man in the world.

The character not only revels on his appearance, but also seeks to become rich by using his good looks to his advantage. He is put up to the challenge of seducing ten different women, all of whom possess special abilities that have led to their success and which Dokgo Ma-Te must learn.

Also confirmed to star in the upcoming drama is Lee Jang Woo, who previously appeared in television dramas Here Comes Oh Ja-Ryong and I Do, I Do, both of which won him acting awards last year.

He will take on the role of free-spirited David Choi, a foil of the main character who is charged with keeping a close eye on Jang's Dokgo Ma-Te.

Beautiful Man is scheduled to premiere on November 20 on KBS2. It will air on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 9:55PM KST.
