Crayon Pop ‘Holiday? Not Even One Day of Rest, But We Are Still Happy’ [Korean Thanksgiving Interview]

"Bar Bar Bar" star Crayon Pop is greeting the Korean holiday season with their traditional Korean dresses. It's a refreshing change from their usual training clothes and helmets, but they're still unique in their new dresses.

Crayon Pop showcased their own Crayon Pop style when they appeared wearing traditional Korean dresses over their training clothes. They said, "We want to put Crayon Pop's trademark even in our traditional Korean dresses" and put on big smiles.

Crayon Pop has risen to stardom with their song "Bar Bar Bar," which was released on June 20. Their popularity was not unlike Psy's "Gangnam Style," and they are currently the number 1 recruits for this Korean holiday season. Even though it's a holiday season for most, their schedules have been packed. To this Ellin said, "We don't have even one day of rest for this Korean Thanksgiving holiday. But we are still happy. I'm happy that we can show our new image to our families through television."

For Crayon Pop, this year's Korean Thanksgiving is special. Last year, they spent the holiday training in the practice rooms and couldn't see their families, but they are happy to be able to greet their families through television. These girls who have deep feelings for their family members were asked what gift they would want to give to their parents.

"We want to give them money. With cash! We want to give them everything we've received. Because we are twins, our parents had to spend twice the normal amount of money on us, and so we want to give them twice the luxury." (Cho A, Way)

Crayon Pop hasn't seen a day of rest since "Bar Bar Bar" exploded in popularity. Since New Year's Day January 1, they haven't had any off time. Before "Bar Bar Bar" they were busy practicing, and since then have been busy with other activities.

"Right now we're busy because of all the schedules, but even before them we didn't really have any day of rest because we were so busy practicing. In that aspect, there hasn't been that big of a change. If there is one difference, it's that we have learned to do a lot more things in the car. We eat, sleep, and put our makeup on in the car. Since we are busy, we usually have to eat in the car. I think we've basically eaten food from most convenience stores." (Gummi)

Since the members haven't been able to eat a solid meal properly, there must be a lot of things Crayon pop wants to eat this Korean Thanksgiving. When asked about their favorite foods, the members started shouting out answers.

"Sweet potato pancake, skewers, vegetable pancakes, dried persimmon, Korean traditional cookies, iced sweet rice drink, Korean kebab, rice cake, marinated noodles, and everything! Wow rice and Korean kebabs are so delicious! I want to eat it right now. Sob sob." (So Yul)

Crayon Pop is receiving a lot of love from the public, and currently working on their new song. Since they worked hard for their debut, they have a determination to use their current success as a stepping stone and become even more successful.

"There have been a lot of events, and a lot of twists and turns. However through these experiences we have learned a lot and it has been a great lesson to us. Now that we've experienced social lives, I think we'll be able to continue working hard. We hope our fans will support our new song as well. We hope you all have a hearty and happy Thanksgiving!"
