Girl group T-ARA and solo artist IU will both be making their comebacks in 1 year and 5 months.

According to a statement made by T-ARA's agency Core Contents Media on September 16, "T-ARA has confirmed their comeback for October 10, and it will be their comeback in 1 year and 5 months."

After they concluded their activities last year, T-ARA has immersed themselves in individual activities in Korea, America, and Japan. They held their tour concert in Hong Kong and Japan. After their Japan concert in September, they have been preparing for their comeback.

T-ARA went through a member change recently when Areum left to work on her solo activities. T-ARA N4 gained Dani as a member after Areum left, and for now T-ARA will be a 6 member group.

At the time when Areum left, there were lingering after effects of her withdrawal from the group, with rumors of the team's breakup. However, they plan to come back full blast with their activities this October.

On September 25, T-ARA will announce their comeback with a 3 minute teaser and poster that was shot in the desert. According to the agency, their new song's concept is "an even stronger sound than the original T-ARA members showed before. Their music will be powerful and showcase an addictiveness that only T-ARA possesses."

IU will comeback for the first time in 1 year 5 months as well. IU was originally scheduled for a comeback in September, but it was rescheduled for October, and she has been busy finishing up her album. According to her agency LOEN entertainment, it looks like she will hold her comeback on October 7.

IU finished filming KBS 2TV's drama "You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin," in which she had a lead role, and has withdrawn from her MC role on SBS' music program "Inkigayo." Since then, she has poured all her energy into her comeback.

According to a rep, IU has composed 2 songs in her new album, and plans to make more apparent her role as a singer songwriter. She plans to shed her previous image of a little girl, and her new concept will be that of a more mature woman. She has lately been spotted with long hair that has been dyed blond, and has been attracting a lot of attention with this new image.
