According to a source, "While filming on set for a drama, one of the props fell near her eye, but thankfully it wasn't a serious injury. After she was hit, Moon Geun Young's eyes swelled up, but now it's just bruised. There should be no difficulty in proceeding with filming. However, her bruised eye might be visible on television."

It was revealed that Moon Geun Young is currently at the end of filming for one of her projects, and has been very busy with her schedules. She has also shown a passion for ceramics, which she has been polishing for the past several months. Fans were worried upon hearing about her eye injury.
