Jay Park Creates His Own Record Label 'AOMG' - Signs Hip-Hop Artists Cha Cha Malone, Jun Goon, Grey

Another tremendous leap forward for Jay Park!

The Korean-American hip-hop/R&B artist is making great strides in his career - a list of successful singles and featurings, a spot on the cast of SNL Korea, and now his own label.

On September 24, Sports Seoul reported that the former 2PM leader has officially started his own independent record label, AOMG.

AOMG (Above Ordinary Music Group) is Jay Park's shot at branching out in the Korean music industry in which he plans to venture into the business side of things while raising up some talented new acts.

Currently included under the new hip-hop label, aside from Park that is, is his Art of Movement (AOM) dance crew member Cha Cha Malone, who fans might remember from his various collabs with Jay such as the recent "I Like 2 Party."

Additionally, Jun Goon and Gray have signed on as artists to be managed by AOMG. Jun Goon has perviously worked with the likes of Wheesung and Big Bang's Taeyang on various album projects and Gray has been featured in several songs by Zion.T and Swings.

The creation of AOMG does not mean that Jay Park will be abandoning his current label SidusHQ, the company with which he recently extended his contract. He plans to continue having his music managed by the agency while at the same time exploring other areas of the music industry with his own label.

Fans can continue to expect great things from Jay Park and the artists he has taken under his wing in the very near future.
