Cheap Samsung Galaxy Note: Entry-Level Note 3 Rumored To Follow Flagship's Footsteps, Allegedly 20-30 Percent Cheaper

Earlier this year, Samsung unleashed a barrage of variations for its Galaxy S4 model, and it looks like it is going to release a cheap Samsung Galaxy Note as well.

According to Korean website ETNews as cited by BGR, the Korean manufacturer is currently working on an entry-level version of its stunning Galaxy Note 3 phablet.

In a report by tech website Android Community, the alleged cheaper version may feature more plastic parts, a 720p resolution LCD screen, and a slightly lower quality rear camera at 8 megapixels.

Whether Samsung would use a flexible LCD is still a question, though it will be highly welcomed by consumers who want a budget-friendly Note phablet.

Furthermore, the report says the rumored budget Note 3 will be 20-30 percent cheaper to manufacture, which could potentially cut a couple hundred of dollars from its retail price.

While Samsung has yet to announce this variation of the Note 3, the report says there's a high possibility that it would be an exclusive for emerging markets.
