GTA V PC Release Date: Norwegian Retailer Places Date For Pre-Order, But Not In This Year

GTA V continues to break all sorts of sales records, to think that it's just available in current-gen consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360. While there are some rumors which point to two release dates for the PC version before 2013 ends, this one pushes the GTA V PC release date several months farther.

According to gaming website Now Gamer, a Norwegian game retailer has listed the PC version release date for GTA V on March 18, 2014.

Komplett's page on the game's pre-order date shows that stocks are still unavailable at the moment. It indicated March 18 as the release date, while March 19 could be the date when '100 stocks' could be ready.

It also comes with an alleged pricing for the GTA V PC version.

We don't know yet whether this would be the exact date for the GTA V's PC edition, and while this would definitely be a far cry from what was previously rumored (November and December 2013), this would confirm the prediction of an analyst regarding Rockstar's strategy to sell as many copies to current-gen consoles as possible.

Of course we should still take this rumor with more than a pinch of salt, but one thing is for sure - GTA V will definitely have a PC edition.

By the way, here's a translated version of the description on Komplett's page.
