"New Girl" season 3 premiered last week, and now with two episodes under our belts, we are wondering whether or not Nick and Jess will last in season 3 of "New Girl."

Liz Meriwether told TVGuide that issues will still persist in Nick and Jess' relationship this season, such as Nick's unstable career, Latinos Post reports.

"They're still dealing with all those issues," Meriwether said. "Schmidt is actively trying to break them up, so they're battling Schmidt too. They have a lot going against them and we'll see if they can make it."

According to Breathecast, actor Jake Johnson (who plays Nick) commented on the future of Nick and Jess's relationship, Design & Trend reports: " I don't know how they're going to sustain their relationship in this point in their lives. They're constantly on the verge of screwing it up. It feels like one wrong thing from either of them and the thing is gonna blow up."

But E! Online reports that Jess and Nick's relationship will not be over anytime soon in season 3. In fact, Jess will actually try to spice things up in the bedroom in the fourth episode.

"New Girl" fans will remember how awkward it was last time Jess tried to do this when she was dating Paul (played by Justin Long).

This time, Jess will turn to Schmidt for advice... but knowing Schmidt, he will probably just makes things worse for poor Jess.

"...We've got some love triangles, a lot of high drama, high comedy some exciting sort of storylines coming up," Zooey Deschanel, who plays Jess, told OTRC.com at FOX's recent Eco-Casino party.

In episode 2, Nick and Jess figure out how to date as a couple while also living together.
