Upcoming Android Phones 2013: BLU Launches Studio 5.5 With Quadcore CPU, Dual-SIM Support, Will Retail At $179

Last week, BLU announced one of the upcoming Android phones for 2013, the Studio 5.5 Priced aggressively at $179, this is certainly a great option for people who want to get an Android phone but cannot afford the products of known brands such as Samsung, HTC, Sony and LG.

However, you should not be fooled by this affordable pricing as the Studio 5.5 packs a number of impressive specs as well.

The phone has a 5.5" TFT display with 480x854p resolution, similar to other midrange phones in the market today. It also sports a 1.2Ghz quadcore Cortex-A7 CPU, a PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The Studio 5.5 also has a 5MP primary shooter and a VGA front camera.

Under the hood, the BLU smartphone boasts two SIM card slots, and a 2,250mAh Li-Ion battery which the company claims to last up to 300 hours on standby, or 4 hours of 3G calls.

Another interesting feature is that the phone will come in a variety of bright colors. If you cannot afford a Lumia phone, or the multi-color variations of the iPhone 5C, then BLU's array of colors would be a good alternative.
