FIFA 14 Mobile Release Date: Patch Coming Soon? EA Sports Announces It’s Going Live On Xbox 360, PS3

The second patch for FIFA 14 is scheduled to go live on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week, EA says according to Gamespot.com, leaving many wondering if the same could happen for the game's mobile version.

EA Sports launched FIFA '14 mobile version last week and received millions of downloads around the world.

EA Sports' FIFA 14 mobile game is now available at the Google Play Store and features improved graphics and tablet-optimized controls that will let players take their football fantasy games wherever they go, AndroidCommunity.com reports.

The developer also released a mobile application that reveals capabilities for using modes like the "Ultimate Team."

The mobile FIFA 14 is, obviously, graphically inferior to the console version, resembling more the FIFA games seen on earlier video game consoles - the game's controls have also been re-engineered for mobile, with tapping, flicking, and swiping replacing the button controls of the full version, WebProNews.com reports.

A new trailer for the mobile version depicts what players are in for, including a mobile verison of "Ultimate Team" and several other modes that are purchasable through microtransactions, WebProNews.com also reports.

The release of the game's demo version revealed that EA Sports had decreased the pace states of almost every single player in the game.

EA Sports will release next-generation console versions of FIFA '14 in November, once the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One are available, and the developer has announced some specs that are being carried over.
