HTC One Max Release Date: Phablet To Be Announced On Oct. 16, Invitation Hints Fingerprint Scanner, Improved BoomSound

Ever since rumors surfaced about an upcoming phablet from HTC, a lot of people are now expecting the HTC One max release date. Fortunately, it won't take much longer.

In a report by GSM Arena, the Taiwanese manufacturer has sent out invites to an event on October 16th. Interestingly, it's invitation bore a few hints on some features of the Android tablet.

Its English translation:

One finger opens up a big view
You are invited to immerse in the sound with us

The first line definitely has something to do with the rumored fingerprint scanner located at the back of the HTC One max, just below the 4-ultrapixel camera. Meanwhile, the second line hints the improved BoomSound which the One max has inherited from the HTC One. It would also confirm that the upcoming HTC device will still sport Beats Audio technology.

Other notable features include a Snapdragon 600 chipset, 3,300mAh battery, microSD and dual-SIM support.

Recent rumors have pointed toward an October 17 release, which could mean another invitation for bloggers and analysts may still be under way, GSM Arena reports.
