Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumored To Be Water-Resistant And Dustproof, Korean News Site Reports [RUMOR]

Released back in April, the Korean company's Galaxy S4 is undeniably one of the top phones in the market today. But as early as now, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is already in the rumor mill.

According to reports by Korean-based media site ET News, the upcoming flagship phone of the Galaxy S line will feature a waterproof and dustproof build, similar to Sony's Xperia smartphones.

The report said Samsung would opt for the change due to the huge success of its Samsung Galaxy S4 Active variant which is also dust and waterproof.

Furthermore, the website's sources said that the Korean manufacturer is currently trying out a number of new materials for their upcoming smartphones, particular flagship-level devices.

In another rumor, the Galaxy S5 may also be the first Galaxy S phone to get a full metal body, much to the delight of consumers who want a premium feel for their phones.

Meanwhile, Android fans may also want to check out the 'rugged' version of the Galaxy Note 3 which reportedly has water and dust-resistant features.
