500 kilos of rice came from the Sistar Gallery of DC Inside, another 500 from Sistar’s American fans, 220 from Hyorin’s Korean fans, and 70 from Sistar’s Japanese, Taiwanese, and Malaysian fans. The cat food came from Korean fans. The rice will be donated to needy people while the cat food will go to animal-care organizations.

This is a prime and beautiful example of the power that the entertainment industry has when it comes to finding support for those who need it more that desire it. The donations were very kindly made and will surely go to those who are deserving. What is also impressive about the massive donations that were made was the fact that it was so internationally dispersed. People from across the globe came together in order to provide for the less fortunate as well as see one of the hottest rising Korean girl bands take the stage for their solo concert. A lot of these could not have been possible if it were not for the participation of the fans so surely the members of SISTAR cannot be more thankful to the love and generosity their fans have displayed.

The Sistar Concert — S was held at 1800 (GMT+9) on Oct 12 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, with an audience of around 4,000 fans. It was Sistar’s second solo concert.
