Watch the free live stream online as Patriots star tight-end Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play for the first time this season and it will be vs AFC East rivals in the Jets. Gronks' agent Drew Rosenhaus told

"If a player is going to come back, he has to be medically cleared and he personally has to be ready to get back on the field," Patriots owner Robert Kraft told Boston radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub. "Those are the two things that need to happen. Neither one should be diminished.

"Sometimes you're a player and you want to go out there and play, and for their own good, you need to be held back. Sometimes you have players who are cleared medically and they're not just ready psychologically to get back on the field. As we talked about, you shouldn't step on an NFL field unless you are. Either of those are equally fine [orders] and metrics."

The Jets are coming off a loss to the once winless Pittsburgh Steelers, but have a chance to defeat the 5-1 Patriots. New York is currently 3-3. If the Jets can win then they'd one game out of first in the AFC East with almost half of the season already played and both games with New England done with.
