Madonna proves her penchant for fitness by going to Berlin, Germany to host the opening of the country's first ever Hard Candy fitness club. Despite being late for more than an hour in the ceremony, the pop queen did her job and even signed autographs for excited fans.

Madonna's fitness clubs have been named after her 2008 album. Her personal trainer Nicole Winthoffer tells audience of what they can expect from the 'Material Girl's' newest health club: "This Berlin location is beautiful inside. There are skylights, there's windows, we have many different programs. We also offer for the members, keycards where all of their workout information is stored on their personal membership key. So there's a lot of new things that Madonna and I are super excited about and everybody should check out the Berlin 'Hard Candy' fitness location."

Hard Candy features innovative fitness equipment, a 25-meter pool, a sauna, a steam room, and three spacious terraces to relax.

Winthoffer further explains the reason behind the businesswoman's latest venture: "You can see that Madonna is a poster child for having a body that's always in tip top shape because she is always changing her workouts. So she was excited to bring that variety to 'Hard Candy."

Other Hard Candy fitness centers are situated in Chile, Mexico City, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rome, Russia, Santiago, Sydney, and Toronto.
