Robbie Williams Closed Fashion Boutique Due To Bankruptcy; ‘Candy’ Singer Will Miss Designing Clothes

The fashion company of Robbie Williams, Farrell, will undergo liquidation after it has officially filed for voluntary bankruptcy.  Williams offered the fashion house in 2011 and has likewise opened a pop-up boutique in Convent Garden, London last August.

However, the clothes did not captivate the shoppers for it closed after six weeks.  Following the closure of the menswear company, the shops staff and design teams have been dismissed as well. The website has been similarly shut down.

"The support of the men's press and retailers internationally since we started has been incredible and I want to thank them. I have also been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the talented Ben Dickens and will miss creating and working with and wish him every luck for the future, " said the 'Candy' singer about the closure.

The 39-year-old hit maker has previously hired ex-Burberry design director Ben Dickens to create Farell's collection. The collection was then released in his own shop as well as famous London department store, Selfridges.

The label has been inspired by the 'Take That' star's grandfather, Jack Farell, who used to be known in his hometown for his impeccable fashion sense.
