Girls watch out Clark Kent is back on the market! More than 10-years of marriage are over, as Smallville Tom Welling's wife files for divorce. Jamie White Welling submitted documents to Los Angeles Superior Court last October 17, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. Superman's wife seeks for spousal support. The ex-couple did not have any children and according to TMZ the two did file for legal separation last December 2012.

Tom and Jamie met in a small eatery at Miami, Fla. In July 5, 2002 the then couple got married in Martha's Vineyard with some of Tom's closest and Smallville co-stars Michael Rosenbaum who plays the role of "Lex Luther," and "Lana Lang," played by Kristin Kreuk.

Welling and his wife settled in Vancouver where the filming of "Smallville" was held. The two returned to Los Angeles last March 2011 after the hit series wrapped up for good.

According to the actor's statement in one of his interviews with YM, "I don't want to be a celebrity for the sake of being a celebrity. I want to work and then go home and live in private." Both Welling and his wife are mum regarding the divorce issue as of press time.

The "Smallville" star most recent appearance in the big screen is a starring role in the movie "Parkland," which had its premiere at Toronto Film Festival.

Welling has recently done filming the movie "Draft Day," where he plays Brian Drew, a quarterback failing at his career. The movie also stars Frank Langella and Jennifer Garner. "Draft Day" is due for release next year.
