In spite of the critics that Miley Cyrus owns, fans and some celebrities still show their support for the 'Hannah Montana' star. Just recently, pop star Britney Spears expressed her admiration for the 20-year-old star in a radio interview.

 "I'm a huge fan of hers. I think she's brilliant right now. My mom and her mom know each other. She is from the south. She's a girl's girl and she gets the whole Southern thing. Also my manager is her manager, and it's just really worked out," says the 31-year-old songstress to Capital FM.

Spears and Cyrus also did a duet for the latter's newest album, 'Bangerz'. The 'So Undercover' star reportedly said that the only singer she wanted for her album would be Spears. In the single 'SMS', Cyrus shows her rapping prowess while Spears did the singing for the dance track.

The ex-girlfriend of Liam Hemsworth mutually admires Spears. In her MTV documentary entitled 'Miley: The Movement', she expresses her awe for the veteran performer:  "The way that I am about Britney, that's the way a lot of people are about me. She was my first record. I was a lot of people's first album. First idol. I'll be a diehard fan for Britney, always."
